Speaking + mentoring

I regularly speak to leadership programs, community groups and aspiring directors on topics where practical experience matters more than theory.

Networking that actually works
I speak to leadership programs about why networking matters and how to do it in a way that feels authentic rather than transactional. This isn’t about collecting business cards - it’s about building relationships that support your career and your community over the long term.

Suited to: Leadership programs, emerging leaders, career development groups
Recent clients include The Mandala Project

Digital 101 for community groups
Small not-for-profits often know they need to use digital tools but don’t know where to start. I’m frequently the first call when a community group needs to get online, set up basic systems, or make sense of platforms that feel overwhelming. I run introductory sessions and provide follow-up mentoring to build confidence and capability.

Suited to: Community organisations, volunteer committees, small not-for-profits
Recent clients include Alpine Valleys Community Leadership, Fischer Community Leadership Program

Starting your board career
I mentor people who are exploring board roles for the first time - from deciding whether it’s the right path, to preparing for interviews, to navigating the first few months. With over a decade of board experience including committee chair roles, I understand what boards are actually looking for and how to present yourself with confidence.

Suited to: Emerging directors, leadership program graduates, professionals considering board roles
Recent clients include The Observership Program
